Astrid Creve is a singer and lyricist. She has been working with bands and projects of many different styles for years. What she loves is the authenticity of each band in creating their own compositions and finding a characteristic sound. A few examples are: Belcirque, a group of six women who sing and play their love for absurd and colorful stories; Fillage by Sur Mesure, a group of 8 that mixes circus and live music; Alfredo, a quartet with a very intimate sound that navigates between jazz and singer-songwriter; Mòs Ensemble, a group of seven that work with compositions of Kobe Boon and interweave them with free improvisation.
In Stompin' Caravan, Astrid finds an uncomplicated joy that fills the musicians and the audience with energy.
